The effort was worth the 2\,000-mile drive as the magic of the dig captivated Kim. From the moment she carefully lifted a small piece of cracked blue and white pottery from the earth\, the aspiring young artist knew that uncovering secrets from the past would become a big part of her artistic future. \n\n \nKim’s future wasn’t just filled with digs and history books\, however. Watercolors\, pencils\, ink\, and anything to do with art called her name. Into the wee hours of the morning\, she could be found drawing\, painting\, studying\, creating. \n \nToday you will find Kim in her small\, east Texas hometown sharing the joys of art and history with her community through her business\, Bookmark Arts. As an experienced teacher and an illustrator of multiple children’s books\, Kim is now sharing her love for art and history through a wide variety of hands-on art history workshops.
