Old-Fashioned Silhouettes Workshop
Bring a friend and join professional artist and illustrator Kim Wasson Tener of Bookmark Arts as she shares the Victorian art of silhouette making. With the help of your instructor, a vintage tool called a pantograph for miniaturizing, you will craft a classic silhouette ready to frame and hang.
This workshop requires a printed side-view portrait photograph in order to simplify the silhouette process. Workshop includes supplies and instruction for one silhouette; additional silhouettes are $10 each that you can pay for the day of the event, cash only. You must register and pay the original $45 prior to attending but will pay any add-on silhouettes the day of the event. If you plan to add on additional silhouettes, please call and tell Kim your total number of silhouettes so she brings enough materials to the workshop.
