All About Fruit Trees and Small Edible Fruit

February 26, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

This class will be all about fruit trees and small fruit. We will discuss everything from varietal selections, insect and disease concerns and how to control them, and the benefits of thinning fruit on peach trees in particular. In addition we will discuss when the best time to prune and how to properly prune. We will also do a how-to demo on properly trellising blackberries. We will cover lots of information, all in an effort to
help you achieve better and higher quality fruit production on your plants. In addition, we will learn more about what perennials thrive in shade vs. sun and how to divide the perennials you already have. Fungal and insect identification and discussions will take place too!

Doug Arnold will be teaching this class.

The class fee is $25 and we will be outdoors at the tent. We will lower the sides for warmth, but bundle up just in case. This class will go on, rain or shine.

***Please RSVP to this event by clicking on the “Reserve Now” button. This class is limited to 30 guests. This will ensure that your spot is reserved and gives us a proper headcount for the class.
