With the help of your instructor and a deliciously honey-scented beeswax blend, enjoy the simplicity of this age-old craft. Finish your project with a lovely wooden taper holder, ready to stain or hand paint as you like (stain, paint, and guidance provided). Fall Family Fun Day

Plants of Texas 17470 FM 2493, Flint

Join us for our Fall Family FUN Day the first Saturday of October! We will have an inflatable obstacle course, sports games, and a bounce house for kids set up from the hours 10 am - 1 pm. In addition, Texas Taco & Bahama Bucks will be at our Flint location during these same hours for the lunch rush. Texas Taco is running a special for a FREE margarita with every meal purchased! *must be of legal age to consume alcohol We will have a 25% off sale on all Mums, Annual Color, and Trees for October 5th and 6th to add to the fun. Some exclusions will apply on the SALE items. *the food trucks and bounce houses will only be available from 10 am - 1 pm on October 5th, but the SALE is valid all weekend long, ending on October 6th.  This event will be at our Flint location. This is a FREE event (minus the tacos) for the community, to show our appreciation for your business and support! Come on out for lots of FALL fun and take advantage of the SALES all weekend long.

Winterizing Your Hive(s)

Join Plants of Texas for an informative class on preparing your hive(s) for the winter months ahead. This class will cover everything you need to know to prepare your hives for the first frost of the year and beyond. We will discuss different resources needed for your bees to survive winter. In addition, when, why, and what to feed the bees if needed, and lastly identifying pests in the hive and learning what to do about them during the winter months. What preparation you do now will determine the success of the hive starting in February and March for the Spring season and new year ahead.
