We love our dogs around here. Dress up your favorite pup & bring them to Plants of Texas (Flint location only) for the first annual Howl-O-Ween contest. You are free to dress up alongside your K-9, but just know we will be judging the contest based only on the pup's costume. Please make sure your dog stays on a leash and be ready to walk the dog-walk at 1pm sharp. The entry fee is $5 per dog and 100% of the proceeds will go to the SPCA of East Texas. The grand prize winner will receive a Plants of Texas gift certificate. Come have a Howley good time with us for this fun community event!

Welcome to Advanced Intermediate Beekeeping! We will continue to build upon the topics we learned in the Beginner Beekeeping class. One step closer to you feeling confident in owning your own hive! This class will cover hive inspections, recognizing brood patterns, harvesting honey, bee behavior, diseases, how to grow your apiary, and pest control. You will also have the opportunity to purchase bees, hives, and beekeeping accessories (suits, gloves, smokers, etc.). Plants of Texas is excited to make all your bee dreams come true in one stop. This class will be the bee's knees! The class fee is $30. This class will be held at the NEW Plants of Texas location. This class will NOT be held at the tent. Santa's coming to Plants of Texas! Join us for a fun family event complete with FREE Santa pictures for your children and family. Santa will be at Plants of Texas from 10 am - Noon and all pictures will be FREE (parents can take pics on their phones or bring in your own camera)! There will be kid friendly activities, snacks, SALES, and more. We can't wait to see your sweet littles in all their Christmas spirit! This class will cover proper pruning techniques, what to expect with your fruit tree or small fruit plant, as well as some disease and insect prevention to ensure your fruit trees are plentiful this season.
