Hand-painted Delftware Workshop

Plants of Texas 17470 FM 2493, Flint

Bring a friend and join professional artist and illustrator Kim Wasson Tener of Bookmark Arts as you escape into the delightful world of Delft, Netherlands. With the help of your instructor and gorgeous patterns to inspire, you will design your own gorgeous serving plate. While painting and sampling traditional Dutch treats, enjoy fascinating stories of how this iconic blue and white became beloved world-wide. At the end of this two hour workshop, you will leave your finished piece to have it's final glaze and firing.  We will send you a text when your piece is ready for pick-up. 2 hour workshop, 9-11am $75 includes personal instruction, supplies, gorgeous scalloped-edge serving plate, and delicious Dutch treats for sampling.

Mosaic Garden Class- Hands-On Mosaic Class

Join artist Tami Sorensen for a fun and creative mosaic class at Plants of Texas! Enrollment for this class is limited to 12 participants. This 3 hour workshop lets you create and learn mosaics to take home a finished piece for your garden. Upon signing up, you must text Plants of Texas at 903-316-3292 to tell us what item you choose to create. In the text, please include your name and the item you want to create. Your choices are a stepping stone, windchime, or bird bath topper. You must text your order by February 28th. Stepping Stone shapes to pick from are : Round Square Texas Daisy Turtle Butterfly Cross All supplies are included but feel free to bring any trinkets or baubles you might want to add. $75.00 No refunds after Feb. 8th
