Have you ever wondered what the difference is between a bulb and a tuber or how best to prepare the ground and plant bulbs and veggies? Welcome to Advanced Intermediate Beekeeping! We will continue to build upon the topics we learned in the Beginner Beekeeping class. One step closer to you feeling confident in owning your own hive! This class will cover hive inspections, recognizing brood patterns, harvesting honey, bee behavior, diseases, how to grow your apiary, and pest control. You will also have the opportunity to purchase bees, hives, and beekeeping accessories (suits, gloves, smokers, etc.). Plants of Texas is excited to make all your bee dreams come true in one stop. This class will be the bee’s knees! The class fee is $30. This class will be held at the NEW Plants of Texas location in Flint. This class will NOT be held at the tent. Come create your own "East Texas Landscape" serving plate with us!
