Join Plants of Texas and artist Kim Wasson for a fun pastel painting class. Bring a friend and join professional artist and illustrator Kim Wasson Tener of Bookmark Arts as she shares the joy of pastels using an alcohol wash technique. Following her proven step-by-step process, you will be enchanted with the ease and beauty of this medium. With the help of your instructor and gorgeous pigments, you will paint your own soft pastel landscape on a 9” x 12” sanded pastel paper. 2 hour workshop, 1-3pm $45 includes personal instruction, supplies, and a quality 9” x 12”. *************************

This comprehensive class will cover everything you need to get started in beekeeping, including safety practices and essential hive components and tools, what to expect inside a hive, the developmental stages of honeybees, and a helpful checklist to guide you.
