Join artist Tami Sorensen for a fun and creative mosaic class at Plants of Texas! Enrollment for this class is limited to 12 participants. This 3 hour workshop lets you create and learn mosaics to take home a finished piece for your garden. Upon signing up, you must text Plants of Texas at 903-316-3292 to tell us what item you choose to create. In the text, please include your name and the item you want to create. Your choices are a stepping stone, windchime, or bird bath topper. You must text your order by February 28th. You will get to pick out your own annuals and perennials to create your own combination decorative pot to take home to enjoy. This is the perfect gift to give as well! The most special part about this class is the time you spend with someone dear, creating and planting together! Let’s make memories together! Come ready to use your creative side and get a little dirty in the process! The class fee is $50 per person, and we will be at our Flint location. Linocut Dish Towel Workshop- “The Pollinators” or “Sunny Citrus” Bring a friend and join professional artist and illustrator Kim Wasson Tener as she shares the relaxing and delightful art of linocut. At the end of this two hour workshop, you will take home your custom linocut block for continued art making as well as your design printed on a gorgeous cotton dish towel. Perfect for beginners and more advanced artists. Choose between a friendly honeybee, regal monarch, or fun citrus print. Precut bees and butterflies available as desired. 2 hour workshop, 9-11am $45 includes personal instruction, supplies, linocut blocks, and custom printed dish towel.

Bring a friend and join professional artist and illustrator Kim Wasson Tener of Bookmark Arts as she shares the joy of pastels using an alcohol wash technique. Following her proven step-by-step process, you will be enchanted with the ease and beauty of this medium. With the help of your instructor and gorgeous pigments, you will paint your own soft pastel landscape on a 9” x 12” sanded pastel paper. 2 hour workshop, 1-3pm $45 includes personal instruction, supplies, and a quality 9” x 12”.
