Join artist Tami Sorensen for a fun and creative mosaic class at Plants of Texas! Enrollment for this class is limited to 12 participants. This 3 hour workshop lets you create and learn mosaics to take home a finished piece for your garden. Upon signing up, you must text Plants of Texas at 903-316-3292 to tell us what item you choose to create. In the text, please include your name and the item you want to create. Your choices are a stepping stone, windchime, or bird bath topper. You must text your order by February 28th. Join Plants of Texas for our hands-on hive inspection class. In this class, you will learn how to properly inspect your hive in real time plus other things to look for during a hive inspection. This class will be held at Plants of Texas in Flint. This class is perfect for all levels of back-yard beekeeping experience. Proper protective equipment (full bee suits, gloves, and boots (or other closed toe shoes) are required for this class for your safety as we will be hands-on with the hives. In addition, we will ask you to sign a waiver freeing Plants of Texas from any incident that could occur while on-site resulting from a bee sting or other injury during the hive inspection. You will not be allowed to attend this class without proper protective equipment. PPE for this class is mandatory.

You will get to pick out your own annuals and perennials to create your own combination decorative pot to take home to enjoy. This is the perfect gift to give as well! The most special part about this class is the time you spend with someone dear, creating and planting together! Let’s make memories together! Come ready to use your creative side and get a little dirty in the process! The class fee is $50 per person, and we will be at our Flint location.
