How To Create Your Own Landscape Design

Come spend time with us for a class that includes all you ever wanted to know about basic landscape terminology, landscape goals, and the ability to create and design for small or large areas. We will draw some plans and actually go outside and design an area to give great visual examples of different landscape design ideas. We will cover texture, color schemes, maintenance, sun vs. shaded areas, and dry vs. wet areas. In addition, we will cover: 1. Low maintenance landscape design 2. User friendly landscape design 3. Eco-friendly landscape design 4. How to increase curb appeal through landscape design 5. Create harmony between indoor and outdoor spaces Let us help to get your creative juices flowing and help plan a landscape design perfect for your space! Beginner Beekeeping Class

This class will cover beginner beekeeper basic knowledge and much more. We will have a guest speaker from Flint Farm & Apiary conducting this class. This class will cover PPE and safety, the hive components and tools needed, what's inside a hive, comb, propolis, worker bees, drones, and queens. All About Fruit Trees and Small Edible Fruit

This class will be all about fruit trees and small fruit. We will discuss everything from varietal selections, insect and disease concerns and how to control them, and the benefits of thinning fruit on peach trees in particular. In addition we will discuss when the best time to prune and how to properly prune. We will also do a how-to demo on properly trellising blackberries. We will cover lots of information, all in an effort to help you achieve better and higher quality fruit production on your plants. In addition, we will learn more about what perennials thrive in shade vs. sun and how to divide the perennials you already have. Fungal and insect identification and discussions will take place too!
