This class will be all about fruit trees and small fruit. We will discuss everything from varietal selections, insect and disease concerns and how to control them, and the benefits of thinning fruit on peach trees in particular. In addition we will discuss when the best time to prune and how to properly prune. We will also do a how-to demo on properly trellising blackberries. We will cover lots of information, all in an effort to help you achieve better and higher quality fruit production on your plants. This class is the follow up to the Beginner Beekeeping class that we hosted in February. If you did not make it to the first class, don't worry, you can still attend this Intermediate class and get caught up to speed with all things bees and beekeeping, plus much more! After you complete this class, you will feel prepared and excited to keep your own hive(s) this spring and embark on a buzzin' new adventure!
