With the help of your instructor and gorgeous patterns to inspire, you will design your own gorgeous serving plate. While painting and sampling traditional Dutch treats, enjoy fascinating stories of how this iconic blue and white became beloved world-wide. With the help of your instructor and gorgeous floral patterns to follow, you will craft a custom roof for your locally made birdhouse. 2 hour workshop, 9-11am $75 includes personal instruction, supplies, and optional material & instructions for adding copper patina at home (simple, but takes 24 hours to dry).

Join Plants of Texas for our hands-on hive inspection class. In this class, you will learn how to properly inspect your hive in real time plus other things to look for during a hive inspection. This class will be held at Plants of Texas in Flint. This class is perfect for all levels of back-yard beekeeping experience. Proper protective equipment (full bee suits, gloves, and boots (or other closed toe shoes) are required for this class for your safety as we will be hands-on with the hives. In addition, we will ask you to sign a waiver freeing Plants of Texas from any incident that could occur while on-site resulting from a bee sting or other injury during the hive inspection. You will not be allowed to attend this class without proper protective equipment. PPE for this class is mandatory.

At the end of this two hour workshop, you will take home your custom linocut block for continued art making as well as your design printed on a gorgeous cotton dish towel. Perfect for beginners and more advanced artists. Choose between a friendly honeybee, regal monarch, or fun citrus print.
