Azalea Encore© Autumn ‘Sundance’

Want that 12-month interest and love azaleas? Pick up some from the Encore series! This series delivers that dependable springtime flower show that we adore, then returns for a repeat performance in the summer and fall. Encore Autumn Sundance features oversized 3” pink blooms and evergreen foliage that turns a lovely reddish hue in the winter months, creating a true year-round experience of color and structure. As with all azaleas in the Encore series, Autumn Sundance blooms best with more sunlight, but if you need to plant in shadier conditions, you’ll still enjoy that spring flower show with a slightly less robust summer and fall flowering. Its compact size, heat tolerance, and cold hardiness make it one of the best all-around choices for azalea lovers everywhere. Give it acidic, well-drained soil, late winter/early spring fertilizing, and regular watering and you’ll be amazed at the year-round show of color and structure in your garden!
