A mounding & tightly weeping variety of Texas redbud that grows into fun shapes and forms in the landscape. The masses of fuchsia-pink blooms in spring light up the landscape, and are followed by seed pots that run red, then brown in fall. A dwarf variety, ‘Traveller’ is a perfect addition for a small space garden, the heart-shaped leaves of ‘Traveller’ emerge a coppery-green, before turning to thick, leathery green leaves in the summer. Plus, plants offer up nice coppery-yellow fall foliage color. Makes a wonderful specimen tree in foundation plantings or even a large container specimen.
